i’m a socially-driven
artist, architect and director
based in Portugal.
Artista visual nascida no Alentejo e sediada no Porto, onde se formou em arquitectura.
A sua prática multidisciplinar move-se entre a ilustração e o video, a animação e o documentário, conjugando observação etnográfica com sensibilidade artística. Explora temas como território e comunidade numa linguagem autoral singular.
Realizou a curta-metragem de animação documental - Comezainas, com apoio do ICA e estreia no IndieLisboa 2022, distinguida com vários prémios nacionais e internacionais.
A par dos trabalhos visuais, é também autora de artigos de carácter antropológico, e co-fundadora da Alento.
Visual artist from Alentejo, based in Porto, with a background in architecture.
Her multidisciplinary practice moves fluidly between illustration and videography, animation and documentary filmmaking, combining ethnographic observation with artistic sensitivity to explore territory and community through a distinctive authoral language.
She directed the award-winning short Comezainas, recognized nationally and internationally.
Alongside
her visual practice, she is also the author of anthropological
articles and the co-founder of
Alento.
